SEX IN A PUBLIC PLACE

SEX IN A PUBLIC PLACE

homepageTo some the idea of sex in public is anathema. To others it’s an intriguing fantasy or even practice. I’ll admit I sometimes have this fantasy. Have I ever acted this fantasy out? Somewhat, in a car parked in the desert, covered up in the back of a pick up truck in a drive-in movie theater, (remember them?) and finally, on a balcony in the middle of the night.

Couple 010What do people find so fascinating about having sex in public? It has to be the the chance of being discovered—of being watched. Yes, I believe It’s a form of exhibitionism.

As I started writing this article, I started thinking about all the instances of sex in public I have used in my books. By the Book is rift with them—in a theater, the ocean, the bathroom of a bar (where two barflies catch and watch them), in a night club (where they are caught on closed circuit TV and everyone couplesclaps for them as they leave red-faced). In addition, examples of sex in public places heat up the pages of Love and Seduction in Las Vegas, Fortune Cookies, Legs, Getting Naked at the Hilton and Forbidden Passion. Forms of sex in public places can also be found in my soon to be released works, The Big Bamboo, Groovin’ ’n Waikiki and April Showers.

I write about it all the time because the fact is, people do it all the time. At work, in restrooms, in parks, in lomos, cabs and on subways (remember Risky Business). Some do it fully dressed, while others take some or all of their clothes off. Some do it in a tent while camping, where they are safe from sight, but everyone can hear them, or the go off in the wilds. Some do it on a beach, or in the water. Then there’s the ultimate sex in public—orgies, where everyone feeds off the sex of others. And in each and every case the participants couple at mirror 1find it exciting. Why? I don’t know. You tell me. Perhaps it’s their way of saying to the world, “Hey look at me, I’m ALIVE!

Have you ever done it? If not, do you think about it, maybe even on a stage with an audience? (I have) Would you do it? Would it be safe or reckless?

Two Stars for the Film, Five stars for Alyssa’s…

embrace-the-vampire.jpg

What’s wrong with Hollywood’s horror screen writers? Can’t they come up with something that’s never been done before. I wonder? It seems like I have seen at least a dozen movies with some variation of the plot in Embrace of the Vampire.

Plot

Man (Martin Kemp) and woman (a princess actually) are in love, oh say two hundred years ago. They meet in the woods and as the princess rides away he falls asleep. While asleep, three nymphs approach him. He seems to be in a daze as the nymphs woo then attack him with their fangs.

The Story

Fast forward to present time
Charlotte (Alyssa Milano) wakes up from a nightmarish dream in which the man from two hunderd years ago (Martin Kemp), now an unnamed vampire tries to seduce the pretty college co-ed. After sitting up and turning on nightstand lamp she reaches to her throat and finds an Egyptian Ankh – the symbol of life. Having no idea where it came from she takes it off. However throughout the movie she keeps wearing it.

The Vampire, who seems to be occupying the top floor of the gothic looking campus clock tower next to her dorm, continues to pursue Charlotte in various ways. He is scared off a couple times by Charlotte’s boyfriend Chris (Harold Pruett). The Vampire manages to do whatever vampires do, to a troublesome boy who had picked a distraught Charlotte up (after a fight) and in the same scene to her best friend Nicole (Rachel True).

Comment

The connection between Charlotte and the vampire never became clear to me. He claimed to be in love with her, so I assume she was some great great…granddaughter of his original love—the princess. Or the connection could have been one of proximity, since her dorm was next door to the clock tower.

He, the vampire seemed to exercise some kind of control over Charlotte (the ankh?) because she began to act strangely and did some disingenuous things as we near the end of the movie. The vampire seemed to be operating under some sort of deadline. As the day and midnight deadline approached the vampire became even more aggressive and Charlotte’s actions more unexplainable.

Conclusion

Even Alyssa Milano’s baring of her near perfect breasts couldn’t save this average movie with well worn plot. On a more positive note; surprisingly I did find much of the film entertaining. The backdrop was okay and the cast well chosen. Martin Kemp did pretty good job of acting for an old bass player as did the rest of the low budget cast.

Perhaps this is frivolous of me. I’ve always been a sucker for a fine set of bon bons and Milano’s elevate this two star movie to three stars.

I never claimed to be deep.

‘If I want you in my arms. All I have to do is Dream’

I’m sure that many if not most of you are not familiar with the lyrics I used from am old 1950’s Everly Brothers song for my title, but it sure came to my mind when I read this article on wet dreams. I find the article interesting so I’m going to share it with my readers.

Question: have you ever experienced an orgasm from a dream?

My answer: No. Unfortunately not in years, but I have in the past. Now days some kind of sub-conscious censor has implanted himself in my psyche. I can start a sexy dream but just before I get to the really good part a curtain falls as if someone said you’re not allowed to go there. At this point I wake up frustrated and disappointed.

Fun Facts About Sex Dreams

Posted: 2007-08-23 14:02:57

Chances are, you had a sex dream this week. Fully eight percent of
our dreams involve sexual situations, according to a new study from
psychologists at the University of Montreal in Canada.

Interestingly, women have just as many sex dreams as men, with one
important difference: Men are far more likely to have fantasies about
sex with imaginary people, while women dream about current or past
sexual partners, as well as celebrities, reports HealthDay News.

“Men used to report many more sex dreams, twice as many as women, and
we don’t find that difference anymore,” study author Antonio Zadra,
an associate professor of psychology at the University of Montreal,
explained to HealthDay News. “Either women are having them more, or
they’re more likely to report them. Either way, it’s interesting. ”

Even though sex dreams are very common, psychologists haven’t paid
much attention to them. For this study, the team asked 109 women and
64 men ages 20 to 89, all of whom responded to an ad about the
research project, to keep a diary of their dreams for as long as one
month. The total number of dreams exceeded 3,500.

What do we dream about?

— The most common sex dream involved sexual intercourse, followed by
flirting, kissing, fantasies and masturbation.

— Four percent of sex dreams among men and women resulted in an
orgasm.

— 18 percent of women’s sex dreams involved unwanted sex, compared
with just five percent of men.

— Nine percent of sex dreams among women and five percent among men
involved fantasies about celebrities.

— Men were far more likely to dream about having sex with more than
one person.

— Four percent of women’s dreams featured a partner having an
orgasm. None of the men reported this dream.

Zadra explained that if you dream about something, it probably
occupies your waking thoughts as well. “If the sex dreams tend to
involve unknown or fantasy characters, it is probably a reflection of
your waking state, that your desires and fantasies are with
strangers,” he told HealthDay News.

The study findings were reported at the annual meeting of the
Associated Professional Sleep Societies in Minneapolis, Minn.

Eighty percent of us have a wet dream once a week. Do you? If you’re one of the lucky ones, is it always the same or is it different each time? Would you like to tell us about it?
